All illustrators of Like the Wind offer their work for free, and by selling prints, we are able to give back – with all profits going to the artist.
We selected a painting by French marathon runner Vincent Dogna for our issue #7. ‘Jusqu’au bout’ (‘Until the End’ or ‘To the Finish’) was painted on Canvas and is giclée printed on a beautiful, sturdy art paper.
Vincent Dogna draws his inspiration in the blue line of the marathons and has ran thousands of kilometers. But where most would see a platoon on a starting line or a line of runners stretched towards the finish, Vincent Dogna imagines a work of art, a painting. His artistic eye is different because of his passion for the road race.
This print come in 30cm x 40cm with a ±2cm white border all around (artwork size 25.8cm x 35.8cm). They are Giclee printed on beautiful Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 100% Cotton Rag, 305gsm, pH neutral, Acid Free art paper with a 10-color Epson UltraChrome HDR Ink (which is color fast for 100+ years).
